Theresa May: Defend the Good Friday Agreement

Sign the petition

The Good Friday Agreement is an international treaty guaranteeing equal rights for everyone living in Ireland. People on both sides of the border voted to end decades of violent conflict that claimed thousands of lives. But right now, Westminster’s Brexit plans put that at risk.

A no deal Brexit could change life for people both sides of the border beyond recognition. Scrapping EU-guaranteed human rights in Northern Ireland isn’t just ignoring international law, it could put the whole peace processes at risk.

Sign our petition to protect the Good Friday Agreement, and tell the government to challenge politicians saying putting peace at risk is a price worth paying for their own vision of Brexit. Want to know more? Read our guest blog here.

We call on the Westminster government to amend the EU Withdrawal Bill to make the Good Friday Agreement legally enforceable after Brexit.
