The British people trust governments less than ever, and support for electoral reform is at a new high. These were just some of the findings of the 2025 British Social Attitudes Survey.
The confirms what we've known for a long time: our politics isn't working, and we need to act fast if we're going to fix it.
So how can we move forward from here and turn these shifts in opinion into real, lasting change?
To help us get to the bottom of these big questions, we've invited Professor John Curtice to take us through the findings and explain what it all means.
He'll be showing us what the data says about big questions like:
- Why has the Labour government failed to restore trust in politics, and what can they do to turn things around?
- With a majority now in favour of changing our governing system, what reforms might the public actually support?
- Could growing support for smaller parties, like the Greens and Reform, signal a permanent shift in our political landscape?
And much, much more.
I hope you will join us at this webinar. It will be a must-watch for anyone whose trying to make sense of the state of British politics right now, and the opportunities it presents for democratic reform.
This webinar is held in partnership with Make Votes Matter.
