It damages the public's trust in our politics when MPs use Parliament as a stepping stone to a lucrative job on TV or working for a hedge fund. 

We need a clear, enforceable cap on time spent and earnings made from MP's second jobs. 

That’s what we are recommending to the Standards Committee.
