TV debates are an important part of the democratic process and give voters a chance to see where each candidate stands on key issues.

These debates reach people who are less politically engaged and encourage them to get out and make their voices heard.

We are calling on all the UK's party leaders to commit to attending at least one TV debate during the General Election campaign.
